Isolation switch
Product details↓
Application
QA Series Isolating Switch Fuse Set,QA and QP Series Isolating Switches(hereinafterreferred to as "switch")are mainly used in the circuit of AC 50Hz(or 60Hz)and rated working voltage up to 660V.In the power supply and distribution circuit of large short circuitcurrent and low power factor,it can serve for master switch for manual infrequent operation, especially for mounting in the drawer type low-voltage complete equipment.
Model and Definition
The contact of QA switch is connected with fuse boby, work category AC-23,and conventional closed heating current 63-800A.Total 7 basicspecifications are available. Two sets of breakpoints on QA Isolating Switch are connected with copper conductor in series(without fuse boby),main wokcategory AC-23,and conventional free air heating current 1500-1000A.6 basic specifications are available.
Two sets of breakpoints on QA Isolating Switch are connected with copper conductor in prallel. The circuit becones a set of contacts, main workcategory AC-21,and conventional free air heating current 250A-3150A.Total 7 basic specifications are available.

Structural Features
Normal Working Conditions
1.The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40oc.The average value shall not exceed +35oc within 24 hours. The lowerlimit of ambient airtemperature is -5oc.
2.The height above sea level for installing the switch shall not exceed 2000m.
3.When at max.temperature of +40oc,relative air humidity shall not exceed 50%.Higher relative humidity such as 90% at the temperature of 20oc,is allowed under lower temperature.Special measure shall be taken against occasional condensation caused by temp.change.
4.The pollution grade of environment for installing switch is 3.
5.The switch shall be vertically installed in the place without vibration or shock.
Structrual Features
  1.Fully colsed structure
QSA series switch full closed structure ensures stable performance and improvement of work reliability. Both moving and static contacts, which cannotbe seen exteriorly, are mounted in a pressed housing made of new type electric engineering plastics. There are connecting terminals, fuse boby socket(QSA)or visible copper housing made of new type electric engineering plastics. There are connecting terminals, fuse boby socket(QSA)or visible copper conductor QA of series connection and QP of parallel connection, operation axle sleeve, and auxiliary contact socket, etc.mounted outside the housing.Dismantle or assembly is not allowed without permission for strict technique control for assembly.
  2.Unique contact system
QSA Series Switch owns a unique contact system of rolling insert type, compsed of two sets of double-breakpoint each phase. In structure, rollers ofdifferent length and diameter and quantity will compose different contact system and two sets of contacts in series or parallel connection will meet the circuit of different electrical amperage and work categories.
Applying this contact system, the current will pass through four rollers and greatly reduce the electric repulsion when the contact closes.(theoretically, current is1/4,repulsion is 1/6).When the switch is in the state of closing and meanwhile large shortcircuit current is passing through(under the limit condition, the current may be larger than 100KA),the roller will clamp the static contact tighter as per the reversal parallel law.
During the movement, the touching between roller and static contacts belongs to rolling and slide firction so as to effectively avoid the occurrence offusion welding.
  3.Independent of manpower operation
The operation mechanism of QA series switch is desingned with energy-storage spring. In spite of switch-on\off is operated with force
manually, themoving speed of moving contact is independent of operational force and operation speed, ensuring stable switching performance.
  4.Advanced actuator
The actuator is a complete set of device transmitting the operation torque to the operation mechanism axle sleeve of switch, and the handle is the partfor operatior to hold.
Uthe actuator is composed of handle mounted on the panel and the driving shaft joggled with handle. The extension shaft and the couple can onlybe used when the driving shaft is not long enough. In fact,it shall take consideration of inbuilt installation of switch in the complete equipment andnever mind of inaptitude between the depth of switchgear and handle mounted on the panel.
Uthe handle is mounted on the panel
Uthe handle mechanism shall be in conformity with the requirement that the door cannot open when the switch is closed, the switch shall be inbreaking position if you want to open the door, the switch cannot be closed if the door is unclosed.
Uthe handle has a padlock pulling buckle.Lock the handle with the padlock after being pulled out.The handle cannot turn while in breaking or closingposition to avold error operation of non-operation.
Uthe driving couple shall keep 5mm free distance to the surface in parallel with the handle mounting plane so as to avoid affecting normal work. Therefore,it is ease in installation and adjustment, and that will not cause any difficulty in operation due to imprecise adjustment.
  5.Independent auxiliary contact
The switch may be attached with one or two auxiliary contact boxes. Each auxiliary contact box has pair of NO and a pair of NC contacts.Auxiliarycontact box is insert type assembly.IT is unnecessary to use screw and is easy to dismantle and assemble.
The breaking and making of both auxiliary contact and switch are synchronous.Working principle of QSA series switch switchingin while rotating the operation handle clockwise;switchingoff while anticlockwise
